The Franciscan Friars  of the Our Lady of the Angels Province are Catholic religious priests and brothers who have committed their lives to spreading the Gospel and following Christ. As one of the three branches that make up the First Order of St. Francis of Assisi, the Franciscan Friars Conventual trace their roots directly back to their founder who died in 1226. Conventual Franciscans emphasize communal living and service in urban centers.
